Razavi designed and implemented the database and Java application for public parks managed by the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Prior to this implementation each office in the Commission maintained their own list of parks and related facilities resulting in outdated or conflicting information. Razavi’s solution centralized the park information which reduced the cost of data maintenance and raised the quality of the information. The centralized park information system supported direct and programmatic data retrieval.
