July 2017. Razavi has successfully implemented Accela Cloud for the City of Fairfax, Virginia, Community Development Division. This Division manages the land use and design review approval processes, including the evaluation of applications for rezoning, special use permit, special exception, subdivision variance, and certificate of appropriateness. This division also negotiates proffers and development conditions, and provides staff support to the City’s Board of Architectural Review. Razavi’s implementation of building permits facilitates permit issuance for new construction, enlargement, alteration, removal, or destruction of a building or structure in the city. Permits are also required for installation of any general wiring or electrical devices, plumbing and gas installations, mechanical installations, and fire alarm or suppression installations. The Accela system brings all land management information in the City of Fairfax into a single database making the data accessible to all involved Departments. Razavi Application Developers has been implementing and maintaining Accela for over a decade and our team has cumulatively participated in implementations for over 30 local, state and federal agencies.
